ROLEPLAY SAMPLE:The girl sat on the roof of the one of the buildings of the school she went to. It was early in the morning, around 4 o'clock. She sat on an old couch that she and Johnny had brought up here one day. It was one of those couches you might see in your grandparents basement. You know, the really old, plaid, pull-out into a bed style couches that are extremely comfortable? Yeah, that was this couch exactly. Right now, it was made into a bed and Bailey had brought up a blanket and one of those long body pillows. Both were beige in colour.
Why she was up here in the first place was actually quite unknown to the girl. She just liked to look out at the school grounds in the dark. The outdoor lights that were illuminating parts of the campus were the only light that helped her see. The moon and stars were hidden by a thick layer of dark grey clouds that threatened to burst into rain at any second.
How saddening. Rain, in the middle of January. Oh well, that was what California was all about. January was probably the rainiest month of the year here, but Bailey didn't complain, she loved a good thunderstorm. Tonight she was most likely in for a great show. Off in the distance the girl could already see streaks of lightning and hear the rolling thunder, slowly making it's way to her. Even though she was on a roof, Bailey wasn't scared of being struck by lightning. It always hit the tallest thing, and some of the tree's were much higher than she was, and there was a lightning rod on campus. So no worries.
Bailey lifted her phone out of her pocket, feeling a bit lonely. She flipped the thing open and a mili-second later she was texting Jonathon, her boyfriend. "Hey handsome! Come to the roof, I'm lonely and theres gonna be a wicked storm tonight!" Bailey and Johnny shared that in common, they loved thunderstorms. Something about them just attracted Bailey, at least while she was watching them.
Now all Bailey had to do was hope that her Johnny-Bear wasn't in some deep sleep that he wouldn't notice his phone going off. She also hoped he was in a good mood, like herself, so he would actually come to watch with her, and so they wouldn't fight. Truthfully, Bailey hated fighting with Jonathon, but sometimes she just couldn't help it.
Bailey took a swing of her Pepsi, which was possibly her favourite carbonated drink. She also had brought up a bag of five cent candies. She selected a green dinosaur and popped it into her mouth, chewing it and then using her tongue to get the sticky gummy-ness out of her teeth. She hated that part of the candies, but they tasted soo good!
The girl then leaned against the back of the couch/bed, settling in the wait for a text from her lover or for him to suddenly appear on the roof that they sometimes came to together, just to hang out with nobody else around. That's why the couch was here. Nobody else came here. It got wet sometimes, but that was just a minor detail. Bringing the stupid thing up here was the hard part, though. First of all, they couldn't let anybody see what they were doing, and secondly, they had to find a way up onto the roof so that they could haul up the heavy couch. They finally figured a way to do it, and it took about an hour. They did it during some sort of break when nearly everybody else had gone home to their families.
Bailey smiled as she remembered that day. There had been a lot of laughing and smiles. They hadn't fought either, which was nice. The black-haired girl smoothed her hair and pulled down her t-shirt. She took the thick blanket and wrapped it around her shoulders, shivering slightly. It was a bit cold, and she had been stupid enough not to wear a sweater. She wore black skinny-jeans that clung to her legs, keeping them slightly warm. She wanted Johnny, he would keep her warm.
