dennis nicolas foster,
just a boy, just an ordinary boy
S kipping class? yeah, well, what did a guy like Dennis really have to do in class? Half the stuff the teacher was talking about he didn't understand and he nearly fell asleep in his last history class. Lets face it, Dennis was just, and had never been, a very good student. To be entirely honest with you, he was a horrible student. And a horrible person - well, kind of. Doing drugs, drinking alcohol, screwing around with all the skanky girls in school, he was horrible. Disgusting. Who did those kind of things? Messed up people, like Dennis for example. He blamed his father for his drug and alcohol problem - what? the bastard didn't have the decency to keep that stuff away from his boy, and even when he was a lawyer? Jeez, bowing down in the presence of the moron. What kind of lawyer had he been? what kind of father had he been to introduce such bad things to his son? Well, it really didn't matter now, Dennis was already messed up and there wasn't really anything you could do about it. To bad, he could have been a great person, he believed.
A nyway, it was already almost the end of the day. All Dennis had done was getting out of his house, making his mother believe that he would actually try and sit down and learn in class today. She was such a sucker, did she really think a bad guy could turn good in the matter of one night?! Jeez, he had a stupid mother. Idiot. He hated her so much, such a burning hatred you would never feel. The only one in his family whom he truly loved was his one year old niece, daughter of his nineteen year old sister. She was really the most adorable thing he had ever seen and he would do all in his power to keep her safe. For her he would do anything, even try and stop smoking what he smoked, sniffing what he sniffed, eating what he ate and so on. But right now she hadn't asked anything of him and maybe that was for the best - as much as he would want to do all of those things for the little baby he wasn't sure if he could. He was addicted, did you really have to say more?
T he one place he knew he wouldn't get caught in, from ditching, was the yellow brick wall where he usually sat and smoked. It was quiet right now as all the students were in class. He smiled, a wicked smile, before raising his hand, with the ciggie in his hand, and placing it against his mouth. He sucked and then removed his hand again to blow out the smoke. He coughed, once, and closed his eyes, sighing slightly. Ugh, how he hated the taste of the cigarettes. He really did hate it, he'd much rather prefer alcohol but he didn't really feel like carrying heavy bottles of alcohol in his bag right now - the ciggies were also smaller and easier to hide, and stuff. The point was, it was just so much easier to hide cigarettes from teachers then it was to hide whole bottles of plain vodka in them from teachers and Dennis really didn't need any more trouble right now, he was in enough as it was with those low grades of his.
L eaning against the wall, he found himself suddenly staring at the direction of the school building. Jeez, looked like a nut-house from where he stood. A house of horror - yes, that was exactly what it looked like, a house of horror. Another wicked smile appeared on his pale face and he shook his head. He actually kind of liked that thought, sound sadistic. Could be a nice idea for a horror movie, which he enjoyed very much, though he did believe that someone had already snatched that idea by know - he had probably just thought it was a good idea because he had already seen a movie with that plot. Dennis had seen most horror films - he was a huge fan of those, especially the very sadistic and bloody movies. He was a sick boy, bitchy and all that, but even so he could also be a sweetheart - everyone had his bad side and his good side. In Dennis's chase, he just happened to be showing the bad side more then the good side.
