meet rebecca ann lyons. she's sixteen and is a sophmore. woo-hoo, exciting stuff,
right? so, yeah, she's the preacher's daughter (scaryscary) and is a little embarassed
about it because well...he's the crazy shove-religion-down-your-throat kind of guy.
and they're originally from tennessee, so he has a shot gun in the hallway closet. no
wonder she's never had a boyfriend, right? her mother died when she was twelve, which
was pretty hard on her. her father up and moved after she died because he didn't want
to deal with the memories. now becca gets to play momma/big sister to her twelve-year-
old cousin whose parents kicked her out. will the crap never end? she'll hop on a fast
plane out of dresden as soon as she graduates just to get away from it all and not deal with it.
becca's a relatively friendly person for the most part. unless someone has really made
her mad or makes fun of her because of her father, she'll get along with just about everyone.
of course, though, being as sheltered as she has been, she's a little nervous around those
who have a reputation for partying and all that. so sue her. once she gets to actually know
person, though, it's all good because trust is a good thing and all that jazz. she needs that
one really close friend who she can vent to about her family life, though. preferably a guy
to make her father crazy. just because that would be super amusing when/if he came over.
enemies? pshaw, who needs them?...becca does to make life interesting. maybe
some prissy girl who thinks she's annoying or just someone who took her being quiet
the wrong way when she first moved her? like they thought she was being a stuck
up bitch for no reason? and people who just don't like her for whatever reason.
because, you know, senseless drama's fun and she needs to yell at people sometimes.
so, poor little becky ann's never had a boyfriend because of her father, so no need for exes
or anything. no flings or anything either because she's like the second virgin mary right now.
and, just an idea, i'd love if there was that one guy who tries to corrupt her just to see if he
can or whatever reason. i'd love you forever and bake you cookies if someone did that.
