*HOLLYKAELEIGHFAYETTE,I am a weapon of massive consumption IT'S NOT MY FAULT it's how I'm programmed to function perfectly placing her feet in front of the other, she caught no flaws on even hinting that was pregnant. She didn't want to give it away...but she didn't want it to be a surprise. No, surprises were supposed to be fun. Like surprise birthday parties or surprise visits from old friends and family. There was no such thing as a surprise baby. It's called an accident. Holly has a ton of those. It was an accident that she didn't beg her dad enough to get her the pill. It was an accident that she didn't fulfill her evil plan to take a couple of her older sister's. It was an accident that she got so drunk and that Ben got even drunker. It was an accident that he didn't bring a condom, or that she didn't tell him that she wasn't on the pill. Accident. All were accidents.
like how she met Ben. She accidentally went the wrong way when she was trying to find her locker in the beginning of her freshman year. She accidentally bumped into him and they became fast friends. Accidents happen. And that's what she thought as she slightly tripped her way into the doorway of his home, and accidentally stubbed her toe on the wall. Holly was slipping. When he requested they'd go to his room, she even put on a smile full of fake. "Sure, why not?" she said softly. But all she could think, is that she was in his territory now. He could leave, but it was his house. Holly could leave, but he would lock all the doors until she told him. The only thing he could do was to ask her to leave, and that would probably end up happening soon.
escape was no option. She already followed him up to his door, until he paused. He was still, like an ice sculpture, looking down at the floor. All the blood immediately left Holly's face. She was feeling almost sick now. But not from morning sickness or the odd smells of his home. Holly, are you okay? he asked her, turning to face her again. She was thinking of lying and saying everything was okay, and that she just needed to talk to him. But his look cut right through her. She gasped at his expression.
am I okay? she thought to herself. No, I'm not. I'm really, really not, she answered, resisting the urge to touch her stomach. She knew that there wasn't much there yet. No real body or limbs. Just life. Life was inside of her, and it wasn't her own. And that seemed unnatural to her. It all seemed so foreign and abnormal, that in less than nine months, that Isabella was going to be called 'Aunt Isabella' or Brooklyn was going to be 'Aunt Brooklyn', Nick being 'Uncle Nick', and her dad was going be a grandpa. Not only that, but Ben was going to be a dad and Holly was going to be a mom. A mom. Holly, being a mother. Without a mother.
something isn't right, Ben said as his eyes flickered close. Holly stopped breathing and looked at him. Her heart sunk to the bottom of her stomach. Her jaw opened. It took so much work to shift her mouth into forming words. "Y-yeah. Th-there's something I n-need to say..." But only if she could say it all. He then told her to come to him, and as if she were controlled, she was pulled in. She stood close to him, hot tears pouring down her paled cheeks.
everything was falling apart. And it was all her fault. It's always her fault. "B-Ben," she started to say, wiping the tears away. They were clouding her vision, and making her even more nervous. And fearful. She was filled with fear. Holly didn't know where to start. So she just went out and said it, weights once holding her down transforming into tears, that started to roll off her face and fall to the floor. "I'm...I'm," her hands flew to her face, wiping away her tears.
"I'm pregnant."

'BENJAMIN JONES'
White lace, gold beads, I'm 'a run it like a marathon; "I'm pregnant."
The words hit him like a ton of bricks delivered straight to the face. His eyes darted open so the dark blue orbs looked to be almost popping out of his head, this couldn't be happening. This was his fault! His! He got drunk, he hit on her, her let himself get out of hand... and now he was going to have a kid!? "....W-What?" he stuttered quietly while leaning against his door; his knees were barely holding him up. Ben's head tilted back and slammed against his beaten up door as he just slid down to a sitting position, his elbows resting on his knees. "....I can't, I mean, I have to be there for you. This is my fault, I fucked this all up!" his eyes started to water, but he just had to hold it back... he couldn't let her see his weak side, she couldn't see him cry. 'Mum, what have I done? You taught me better!' he yelled in his head while keeping his eyes focused up. He wished she was there, she would have helped.. she would have been there to comfort the both of them, she would be supportive. She would have loved Holly, and everything about her. Clenching his hands tightly, he slowly looked towards Holly's face, then down towards her stomach. She had an extremely tiny tummy... he could see it just slightly. A child was growing in there, his child. No. their child. "Are you going to, uh, Keep it?" he asked, fighting back the warm liquid in his eyes waiting to spill. Stupid question, it made him sound like he wanted her to get rid of it... bad mistake, he needed to cover. "It's your choice, but Holly," his voice was still low while he stood and placed himself completely in front of her, "I'll be here for you, I'm always here for you, and... I wont let you do this alone," he bit his lip slightly. Ben leaned down slightly, pushed the hair from her face and looked her dead in the eyes while his own watered but didn't pour. "Who knows?" he asked quietly while wiping away her tears with his thumbs. Right now wasn't the time to freak, it wasn't the time to yell or cry. Ben had to be strong, he had to be the adult he was, he needed to face his fears and go through with this. With a deep breath, Ben's arms went around Holly slowly then hooked behind her so he could hold her close to him. She was short, but he could hide her away from people and shelter her from the world. Though while he held her... all he could think about was her family. Nick would probably fucking kill him if he found out it was his. Ben didn't know her father too well, her mother was gone just like his, and her other family members he never met. He'd most likely have to meet them now. "...I... This... this is so hard to take in," he sighed softly and leaned his head down slowly to rest against her's. With a deep breath, he let his shoulders slump down and his body just relax. He needed time with her, he needed time to let this all sink in. [/blockquote][/blockquote]

*HOLLYKAELEIGHFAYETTE,I am a weapon of massive consumption IT'S NOT MY FAULT it's how I'm programmed to function karma. That's what Brooklyn suggested when Holly told her. She could remember it clearly--Brooklyn was busy sipping coffee and doing her taxes, and when Holly told her everything that happened and how it came to be, Brooklyn just pushed her blond hair out of her face and sighed. "Karma", she said. Of course, Holly kicked her and ran the other way, and Brooklyn just pretended that it didn't hurt. Brooklyn says it was due to karma. But Isabella calls it fate, while Nick says it's just how life rolls. And yet, it all points to one thing, that bolded word flashing back into Holly's brain. Karma.
except, why? What did Holly do to deserve this? She did nothing to upset anyone, from what she remembers. She was usually very calm and mellow, not picking fights unless she had a good reason. But she must of fucked up someone's life in some way or another, because what goes around comes around, right? Holly looked up at Ben, her heart hurting more than she ever thought it could. She felt like she was at her mother's funeral all over again. All the emotions she had when she saw her mother's dead corpse in the casket--fear, anger, misery and loneliness--returned to her. She was being swallowed up by them.
everything right now hurt, but her feet were killing her, too. She stood up straight, anyways. She decided she deserved it. Holly only decided that when she looked back at Ben's face. It made her wish she didn't. He was terrified, petrified and horrified all at the same time. His expression was the mirror image of her own, when she first found out, too. She watched him slide down, and heard him speak. It hurt so much to see him like this.
pretending that everything was okay, wasn't okay. So Holly was avoiding telling him that it was all fine, because it was a waste of breath. And when he asked her if she was going to keep it, she felt a sudden and unnatural anger rise up within her chest. Her once cold face started feel an icy fire, though she kept crying. It. "No," she answered, huffing between sobs. "I'm keeping it..." The words tasted funny on her tongue. "...I'm keeping..." she hiccupped, unable to control her pitches and tone any longer, "...it."
it was an it. It was a mistake. It was a creation by two drunk teenagers. It made her cry. It made him panic. It made them worry. It, it, it. It was a child. It was growing. It was alive. And right now, Holly could swear that It could hear what he was saying right now, and It probably could feel Holly's emotions, too. ]"It's your choice, but Holly, I'll be here for you, I'm always here for you, and... I wont let you do this alone." He pushed her hair back and stared at her for a few of Holly's loud heartbeats. He wiped her tears away like a true friend. Holly was amazed how quickly Ben was able to collect himself. She envied him so.
now, he had her in his arms, hugging her. She could feel her heart lighten a little when she remembered how short she was compared to him. But she was still crying. She hated crying. She wanted to stop, but she couldn't. Because she hurt Ben. And she wasn't ever going to be able to forgive herself for doing so. Never. So, she wrapped her arms around his waist and buried her face in his shirt. Holly listened to how his body seemed to vibrate the words while he spoke now, "...I... This... this is so hard to take in,". She sniffled. "Yeah... It is."
great weight that was once heavy on her heart was gone now. Only the burden of being a mother in high school remained. But Holly wanted to worry about all that later. She needed some alone time with Ben, and wanted to save all the negativity for when she could handle it. But until them, no more tears. "Well," she said, looking up at Ben slightly. They both needed some cheering up, so she would take that on, too. "At least it'll be a pretty baby." Holly sniffled some more.

'BENJAMIN JONES'
White lace, gold beads, I'm 'a run it like a marathon; Ben kept his large arms around her carefully, he was making sure not to hurt her one bit. He wanted to hold her, tell her it would be okay, but he knew nothing would be alright. His father would know, Holly would be over more, Ben would be at the hospital when the time came and then probably in his own home by then. "Holly... I'm glad your deciding to keep the baby,"
he whispered quietly against her neck while he was bent over. It was a reality check... something that just shocked him. How could this happen? Why wasn't he smarter? His father warned him if he fucked up, that he himself would rip Ben right out of school and make him pay for the mistake. "Come with me, we need to talk about all of this" he kissed her cheek quietly and lead her into his room while closing the door with a small click!. His father wouldn't be home soon, maybe for lunch, but he only comes in for a few minutes if that and then leaves without looking. If he found Holly there... he'd flip and scream at her too. She didn't need to be stressed whatsoever. "How... are we going to do this?" it was a matter of needing to know about money stuff, how they were going to live, WHERE they were going to live, and everything. He wanted to know about her family, he wanted to know how supportive they were with this and how they were willing to help. With his mother gone, and her mother gone... it would be extremely hard for the both of them. Without the women who raised them, it'd be more challenging. Falling onto his bed, Ben sprawled out and let his head rest against his pillow while staring towards his falling apart ceiling. He closed his eyes slowly and slipped a hand behind his head while letting his eyes trail along the lines in the aged wood. Aged. He was only nineteen and he was already having a kid and to make it a bigger deal; with his BEST friend. Holly was his closest friend, his closest girl-friend... though the girlfriend relationship wasn't existant yet. "...Do you... want me to do anything? For this?" his eyes stopped while he looked off towards Holly. His hand patted the spot next to him so she could come lie down with him. Lying down was probably his better option; feeling light headed wasn't too great right now. Ben's thoughts soon drifted to what she said before, about the baby being pretty. A smile crossed his lips slowly while he thought about the image. "Do you think... it's a girl or a boy?" Ben smiled more to cheer up Holly. "And what about the eyes... the hair..." his mind was going crazy with the images. Would she or he look more like Holly? Sighing slightly, he relaxed while thinking about his Kin. He wanted to know, he couldn't wait to see an ultrasound, he couldn't wait to be by Holly's side. But there were they few things he was scared of... what about the kids at school, his father, the town? Would they have to move in fear of people and press bugging them? No, it wasn't that big of a deal. "I'm scared, though I feel a sense of happiness," his eyes moved over towards Holly, "Though being with you, makes me happier. I'm just... scared," he whispered and looked out the window slowly. If he was this happy, were his father instincts kicking in already?[/blockquote][/blockquote]

*HOLLYKAELEIGHFAYETTE,I am a weapon of massive consumption IT'S NOT MY FAULT it's how I'm programmed to function pregnancy. Holly couldn't recall if she thought about it enough. She screwed up, yes. And she was going to involuntarily torture herself until her belly got big enough to both carry a baby and the heavy weight of stares. No one would really guess it was Ben's, right? The small town new the two were best friends. Holly isn't much of a slut, either, but that perception will probably change dramatically through the eyes of others. It could be a secret if Ben wanted it to be... But maybe the burden of truth was another unwanted thing to deal with? There was no winning.
and she was keeping the baby. Ben acknowledged that he was glad that she was, but Holly didn't know what to make of it. She sniffled again, as he kissed her cheek and lead her into the safety of his room. She watched him fall back onto his bed, as if all of this had suddenly made the energetic teenager tired. Holly remained standing, thinking about what he had said about how'd they do this. "I don't really know," she admitted, looking down at the floor.
responsibility was never Holly's forte. She felt helpless and lost. "My dad said that he could help finically, but I'd have to actually get a job at one point." At least he wasn't kicking her out of the house like the dirty little hoe he must be picturing her as. She shuddered at the thought. No, no. He'd never do that, she reassured herself. He loved her too much. He wanted the family together, again. And if it meant adding on, he'd do it. Her dad was a strong man like that.
empty feelings still lingered inside her when he asked what he should do. "I don't know, Ben," she said pushing hair out of her face. She never really gave much thought on what the father was supposed to do. His belly wouldn't be growing. He wouldn't be stared at constantly, and he wouldn't be going insane on out of control hormones. "Whatever you think you should do, is fine by me," she added, leaving it as open as an answer could get.
not really enjoying standing, she took up the offer and laid down on the bed, next to Ben. She started to feel much better being off her feet, and her head against a pillow. Actually, she felt so much better. Holly was tired but not at all sleepy, so she let her eyelids droop until they shut completely. Her body wanted rest, not her mind. So she listened to Ben talk about the baby, and if it's a girl or boy. Hm, she wondered. "I never really thought about that," she said. "I've been referring to it as an it along..." Coming out into the air like that, Holly realized how heartless it sounded. She frowned.
the eyes...the hair... Holly thought about that too. "Who knows?" she answered. She tried picturing again. Maybe a girl, with dark copper-brown hair like hers, and brown eyes like his? Or a maybe a boy, with Ben's even darker hair, and Holly's blue eyes. Either way, it was going to be a beautiful baby. Boy or girl. It may sound very mushy and it may be the wrong situation to think about it like this...but it cheered Holly up very much. Yes. It was going to be a gorgeous baby. It was all going to be different and new and so...so...
scary. So very scary. Even Ben was scared. But Holly was terrified. Holly's eyes flickered open, her hands touching her stomach. Her hands felt the smooth surface through her shirt, not feeling even the baby bump yet. But you could definitely feel were it was happening. "I'm just as scared," she reminded him. She turned her head to face his. "It's going to be life changing...I mean, him or her. He or she will be life altering. But let's think positive." Holly pushed her shirt up a little, revealing only a small amount of her stomach. "Any name ideas?"

'BENJAMIN JONES'
White lace, gold beads, I'm 'a run it like a marathon; Turning to his side, Ben looked at Holly while she turned her head towards him. She was beautiful but seeing that clear scared side in her eyes was something different, she was usually strong and ready for anything whether it was from a smart remark to just speaking. Though Ben did have to think, he had to think about how strong she was for deciding to keep the child, their child, their kin. The only real thing he had trouble with was about the aftermath when she did end up having the child. Would it be his duty to always be there? Would he have to be with her? Did he have to stop partying? Or when the child was older, could he just suddenly disappear as she brought a new man into the childs life.
Snapping from his thoughts, Ben moved his hand toward sher stomach and let his fingers run over her soft skin. Nothing was forming quite yet, but within a few months he would be feeling something completely different. The pain she was going to deal with... he'd had to be with her every chance the got, making sure she was okay and making sure she'd be able to deal with it. "Names... Hmm... Jaden for a boy, and Aya would be a pretty name for a girl,"
he smiled just slightly while running his finger around her belly button. He believed it was the only way he could really 'communicate' with with her. When it really came down to being with Holly, he only believed she was that 'fling' one day and then they just went back to being friends. Was he really going to be the father of her baby? A best friend, with a best friend, except both are going to be parents together. Closing his eyes, Ben moved his hand to her's quietly while they just lied there. His father would be home soon for lunch, but he could just lie there for hours with her discussing everything about this child. "What about you... what do you think would be good names?" he asked and let his eyes move up towards Holly's. He could see the slightly dark skin on her eyelids but other than that her skin had no blemishes or anything. Such clear skin, pure, untouched when it came to body modifications like his tattooed body. It drew in girls really, being from the city and so covered it just drew in girls who liked 'badboys' as they put it. Holly liked him for who he was, not what he looked like or acted like. She liked his company just like he loved to be around her. Having a friend was nice. "You know, Holly... I'm proud you made the decision to keep the baby," he whispered softly and kissed her cheek just slightly. Lying on his back, Ben kept a hand on her's while the other moved ot the back of his head. Lying with her, just made his day. It gave him comfort. The scared side of him just slowly disappeared. *HOLLYKAELEIGHFAYETTE,I am a weapon of massive consumption IT'S NOT MY FAULT it's how I'm programmed to function the moment she asked about name ideas, was the moment she was drawn to a blank. Well... Names were important. Names were hard. Names can effect someone throughout their life. The name that the child would have would stick with him or her for the rest of his or her lifetime. But again, Holly and Ben had eight-something months to think about the perfect name. She watched Ben touch her stomach as he thought of names. "I like the name Jaden. But I'm not so much a fan of Aya... It's only three letters. Where's the fun in that?" She glanced at her stomach. Is a Jaden or Aya in there?
over and over again, she thought about how Ben was acting. He was being so sweet to her. Being so considerate, so positive. She wasn't even crying anymore. Everything was starting to feel better, but there would still be bumps in the nine month long road. And when it was back to names, all she could think about was how far away the real naming was going to be. They have almost a whole years to think about it. And time changes everything and everyone. Even if the change is little.
unable to be quiet for much longer, she scanned through some name ideas in her mind. "I like the name Chase. For a boy, I mean. Or Tobey. Or...Jacob? Maybe even Charlie." She pressed her lips together in a fine line and stared blankly at the ceiling. She had no idea about girl names. Holly wasn't fond of girl names. That would have to up to Ben. Anyways, she wasn't even sure if she was having a girl. But again, she wasn't exactly out of shock about having a baby. But when she goes through it again, she's angry at herself for being so dumb. It was all obvious and yet, always ignored. Because...you know. Sex can lead to pregnancy. And pregnancy can lead to...
children. Duh. "You know, Holly... I'm proud you made the decision to keep the baby," he said then kissed her cheek. Holly couldn't help but to blush a little. She loved Ben, yes. She would do anything for him, yes. But the fling? It would have been better forgotten. And yet, he was happy. Proud, even. And that was better than anything Holly could have ever dreamed up. She was already smiling ear to ear now, so very overjoyed. "Me, too," she whispered back.
holly knew she could be here forever. She knew she could lay down on her back for hours staring at nothing in particular, just talking with Ben. She had no problem with that. But it was almost around the time Ben said his dad usually came home. And Holly probably shouldn't be here. She paused. "Maybe I should get going..." she suggested, slowly sitting up.
